Host a Food Drive

Hosting a drive is the perfect way to partner with Minnie's Food Pantry and join the fight against hunger. When it comes to feeding families, your drive is an easy way to collect non-perishable food items and make a difference in the lives of the families we serve. Gather your corporation, community organization or family and friends to help coordinate and collect items on a larger scale!

How to get started

Minnie's Food Pantry has made hosting a drive as simple as possible and our team is dedicated to your success!!

    1. Download our Food Drive Guide for tips and tricks on hosting a successful drive, different drive ideas, and answers to frequently asked questions regarding items accepted and most needed items!

    2. Complete the Host a Drive form below to alert our staff about your drive. It's important for us to be aware of who is supporting our charity.

Since transportation is a significant cost for us, please consider it a part of your donation to drop off your donations to Minnie's Food Pantry.

Other Drives to Consider

Toiletry Drive

Each month, Minnie's Food Pantry delivers food to the Dallas VA HUD, (4) Senior Living Facilities, and the day labor workers/homeless. Our long term goal is to provide food and toiletries to these overlooked individuals Consider hosting a drive and ask for the following items: Regular or travel size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrushes, toothpaste and deodorant!

Birthday Bag Drive

We LOVE celebrating birthdays with our clients. Often times, they do not have the resources to purchase birthday cakes and candles for themselves or their children. This is where YOU come in. Host a Birthday Bag drive and collect the following items and drop them off in a gift bag to help those we serve have a birthday they deserve: Here's what we need for each bag: Cake mix, icing, candles, paper plates and birthday hats/decorations, and a birthday card. Some even provide a $10+ WalMart gift card as a special birthday surprise!

Camille's Kids/Veterans Bag Drive

Help us create healthy snack bags for the children, veterans, and the homeless that we serve at Minnie's Food Pantry. These bags include items such as: chips, drinks, granola bars, fruit snacks, crackers, canned meat (with pop tops) and other easily accessible items. Sacks are always decorated with inspirational messages of hope before they are distributed!
