Marisa T. – Individual Volunteer

There are SOOOO many great ones, but there was a recent one was I had brought some blankets from my job and we were giving them to the clients while they were waiting to be served. A couple received blanket and the young lady took hers out of the plastic bag and held it up near her face. I asked her if she liked how soft they are and her response to me brought me to tears. She was holding the blanket near her face and smelling it because it was new. She was grateful that she had something brand new in her possession, not a hand me down or already used, but new. That moment, I will never forget.
