We will be closed on Saturday, October 30th, and will reopen Wednesday, November 3rd.
The forgotten generation is what they call themselves, but not if Minnie's Food Pantry can help it.
Through the Serving our Seniors program, Minnie's Food Pantry delivers non-perishable items, fresh meats, fresh produce, and bakery goods to 4 senior living facilities. Many of the seniors we deliver live on fixed incomes below the TEXCAP guidelines and one facility in particular consists of our seniors living on an average of $6,000 PER YEAR.
During the holidays, Minnie's Food Pantry is committed to ensuring that our seniors do not spend the holidays alone, but rather they can all come together to enjoy a warm holiday meal, open some incredible gifts, and know that their pantries are stocked with lots of goodies.
With many senior citizens on our list for the holidays, we are counting on YOU to make sure they all receive a present to open during our Holiday Bash! Many of the items listed on their "wish lists" consist of pajamas, slippers, frying pans, and a blanket to keep them warm during the winter months.
Please take a look at the video below to see firsthand how adopting a senior for the holidays truly makes a difference in the lives of those we serve! If you are interested in adopting a senior, please email [email protected]!
